Description

Beetles of medium size; usually reach 10-14 mm in length. The antennae are 11-segment with a three-segment mace. In front of the front hips there is no sharp spot of yellow silky hairs. The wings are always developed. Elytra has a thin sutured groove. ^[one]

Ecology

Adult beetles feed on underground mushrooms . Larvae feed on soil humus . ^[one]

Reproduction

The female lays eggs in minks. ^[one]
