One of the longest existing narrow gauge railways is located in the Rivne region in Ukraine . From the station Antonovka to the station Zarechnoe distance is 106 kilometers. In addition to the above-mentioned, there are 2 separate points on the line : Vladimirimer, Belaya. Administratively, it is part of the Lviv Railway .

The exact date of the start of construction is unknown, tentatively - 1895. From the very beginning, the narrow gauge railway was intended for the export of wood .
At Antonovka station, passengers are transplanted from a wide gauge, reloading from wide gauge cars to narrow gauge cars, a technical service point (PTO) for cars and locomotives is located.
The movement of trains is carried out by means of a wand system ; semaphores and one traffic light (entrance station Antonovka) are used as signal devices. Of the rolling stock used: diesel locomotives TU2-062 , TU2-097 (for passenger traffic) and TU7-0767 (service), passenger cars PV40 (model 48-051), on-board platforms. The TU2-066 diesel locomotive is inoperative in the depot and is used as a source of spare parts for the repair of other diesel locomotives. There is one tank VTs-20, which is now [ when? ] is not used, and one snow blower Π‘Π-750 .

The narrow gauge railway already works only on Friday and Sunday (as of 04/28/18), since one of the locomotives as of 2017 [ when? ] under repair. The narrow gauge railway is the main means of communication with many settlements through which it passes. For this reason, despite the catastrophic loss (8-9 million hryvnias per year according to the statements of the Lviv Railway, it is still in operation. Since January 1, 2012, Ostrovsk station was dismantled, the side track was dismantled and semaphores were dismantled. Since the summer of 2012, the road has been tried several times eliminate due to malfunction of locomotives and interruptions in the schedule.
