According to the 2010 census, 60,477 people lived in Bristol, and there were 25,320 households. The average population density was 870 people per square kilometer [2] .
According to the census, the racial makeup of the city was as follows: 53,065 (87.7%) - white , 2,323 (3.8%) - black or African-American , 1,173 (1.9%) - Asian , 117 (0.2%) - Native Americans , 10 (0.02%) - immigrants from the Pacific Islands , 2252 (3.7%) - other nationalities, 1537 (2.5%) - representatives of mixed races. Hispanic or Latino Americans accounted for 9.6% of all residents (5829 people). The average age of residents was 40.3 years. Women accounted for 51.8% (31 334 people), men 48.2% (29 143 people) [2] .
