Distributed in Asia Minor , Iran , Iraq , the Caucasus . [2]
It grows in meadows of the upper forest and in the subalpine zone.
The stems are straight, simple or branched , 60–85 cm high.
The lower leaves are broadly ovate, slightly heart-shaped, 8-18 cm long, 5-6 cm wide; upper - ovate-lanceolate; apical - lanceolate, pointed; all serrate, gizhny on the expanded petioles 2-2.5 cm long, sessile upper.
The flowers are sessile, collected in multi-flowered whorls that form a spike-shaped inflorescence ; at the base of the inflorescence the whorls are set aside, close together; bracts linear-awl-shaped, bent; calyx teeth unequal in length, triangular-lanceolate, spiky; corolla pink or pinkish-purple, upper lip broadly oblong, lower lip three-lobed.
Nuts wide-triangular, bare, smooth.
