Premorbid

Premorbide ( Latin morbus - disease) is a condition that precedes and contributes to the development of the disease (on the verge of health and disease ), when the body's protective and adaptive forces are overstrained or sharply weakened (for example, exhaustion and hypothermia of the body before pneumonia develops). It can either go into a pronounced form of the disease, or after some time end with the normalization of body functions.
