Geography
The village is located on the right bank of the Shoermekhk River, 12 km north-west of the district center Itum-Kali .
The nearest settlements: in the north-east - the villages Borzoy and Guchum-Kale , in the south-east - the villages of Ushkala and Konzhuhoy [3] .
History
The tribal village of the Chechen taipa is Gukha, which numbers from 4,000 to 5,000 people. Most of which now live in the Grozny and Urus-Martan districts.
Toponymy
- Hininaz G1ala (Rus. Hinaza Gala) - "Hinaza Tower" in the village.
- Tolaka Gala (Rus. Tёlaka Gala) - "Tёlaka Tower" in the village.
- Guhoyn khyast (Rus. Guhoyn khast) - "Source of Gukhoytsev" in the west of the village, next to the 1st 1in.
- Guhoyn Bassa (Rus. Guhoyn Bassa) "The slope of the Gukhoys" - in the north of the outskirts
- Hurtsag (Rus. Hurtsag) "Pig" - ruins in the northeast.
- Hattashka (Rus. Hattashka) "To the dirt" - in the south of the village.
- Chuurket boss (Rus. Chyurket boss) "The slope of the inner gate" ruins in the south of the village.
- Chayn Shu (Rus. Chayn Shu) "Bear Terrace" is a farm in the south.
- Dakhkharay (Rus. Dakhkharay) "Toward a Birch Meadow" - ruins in the south of the village.
- Yar-khelli (Rus. Yar-khelli) "Settlement Yar" - a farm in the south of the village. Heat, Yar (Turkish. Pit, hollow). Zharys, Yarysh (Tour. Competition). Legends tell us that there were competitions on this site. Possible, hence the name.
- Lenan court (Rus. Lenan court) "Lena Top" - in the south of the village.
- Lena Chu (Rus. Lena Chu) "To Lena" in the south of the village.
- Garye (Rus. Garie) - tract in the east of the village.
15. Geru gu duka (rus. Gera gu duka) "Hill of Troops Troops" farm near Yar-Khelli. Probably, on this ridge was the center of Gukhoevsky eskar (troops).
16. Khuomash yachcha (Rus. Khuomash yachcha) "Troughs where they mine" on the left bank of the river Gukhoy-Erk.
17. Ivani Bassa (Rus. Awlie Bassa) is a closed place for cattle on the left bank of the Gukhoy-Erk River.
18. Khrüsielie (Rus. Hurcielie) “To the Firebird of Sielha” is a picturesque place on the slope of the Guhoin Bass.
