Career
Alessio Churchi - a pupil of the club " Roma ". March 21, 2005, Churchy signed his first professional contract with the club for a total of 354 thousand euros for a 4-year contract. In the same year, he made his debut with the Jallorossi at the age of 16 in a match against Sampdoria .
In 2006, Churchy was transferred on loan to the Brescia club, for which he spent 21 matches. In the 2007/08 season, Churchy played for Pisa on the right in the midfield. On September 9, 2007, Churchy scored his first goal in professional football, hitting the goal of Cesena and bringing victory to his team. In total for “Pisa”, Churchy scored 10 goals, including two takes - against “ Modena ” and in the second game with “Cesena”. In February 2008, Churchy suffered a knee injury, because of which he did not play for 2.5 months. He returned to the field in April, but in the second game, with Lecce , he was injured again. On April 23, Churchy underwent surgery on the meniscus and cruciate ligaments, which he also damaged in the match.
In the summer of 2008, Churchy was leased to the Atalanta club, which paid 250 thousand euros [3] . At the same time, an agreement was signed under which Atalanta could redeem a player’s contract for 2.75 million euros, but Roma could keep the player in its composition (in this case, Atalanta would have owned only the contract of a football player), paying “ Atalante »650 thousand euros [4] . Churchy spent only 17 games for Atalanta, having missed most of the season due to injuries.
After that, he returned to Roma, where on August 27, 2009 he scored a goal in the Europa League match with Kosice . On December 17, in a Europa League match with Sofia CSKA Moscow scored twice and helped to win Roma 3-0 [5] .
On August 26, 2010, Churchy transferred to Fiorentina [6] [7] [8] . He made his debut on August 29 in a match against Napoli (1: 1). Churchy scored his first goal in Serie A on November 7, 2010 in a match against Chievo , which ended in a 1-0 win for Fiorentina. He finished the season with 7 goals in 26 games in Serie A and one goal in the “ Italian Cup ”.
August 23, 2012 signed a contract with Torino [9] [10] . In the summer of 2014 he moved to Atletico Madrid , but, dissatisfied with his position in the club and the lack of playing practice, returned to Serie A in Milan in the winter of 2015 in exchange for Fernando Torres .
On January 5, 2015, Alessio transferred to Milan on a rental basis, the agreement is calculated until June 30, 2016 [11] [12] . He made his debut on January 6 in a home game against Sassuolo (1: 2), replacing him in the 65th minute of the match.
On July 10, 2017, the player returned to Italy. A 29-year-old football player, the rights to which belonged to Atletico Madrid , underwent a medical examination and signed a contract with Verona [13] . “Verona” Alessio Churchi got free. The contract with the striker was signed until the summer of 2018.
