Story
The film tells about an alternative version of the story of Countess Elizabeth Bathory . As the head of the Protestants of Western Hungary and an influential noblewoman who pursued independent politics, the countess was terribly persecuted, and most of the evidence was falsified for political reasons with the participation of the Hungarian palatine György Turzo , who claimed part of the vast land estates of the Báthory clan, and individual hierarchs of the Catholic Church .

The exceptional personality of Elizabeth Bathory has been of interest to historians for centuries. And even today, nearly 400 years from the death of the countess, views on her life diverge.
