São José ( port of Esporte Clube São José ) is a Brazilian football club from the city of Porto Alegre , the capital of the state of Rio Grande do Sul . In 2016, the club performed in Serie D Brazil .

Content
History
The club was founded on May 13, 1913 by a group of Catholic students at the College of San Jose ( St. Joseph ). Spends home games at the stadium Passo D'Area . The main achievements of São José are victories in the second division of the Rio Grande do Sul state championship in 1963 and 1981. In addition to football, basketball , bocce , futsal and rollerblading are also cultivated at the San Jose Sports Club.
