Distribution and Ecology

It is found in the Pamir-Alai . Endemic .

It grows in the steppe slopes.

Botanical Description

The stem is simple or branched from the middle.

The lower leaves are whole, linear-lanceolate, 2.5-4 m long; stem and upper - palmately dissected.

Sepals in number 5, pale. Flowers 1 cm in diameter, yellowish white; sepals are ovoid, sharp, pale yellow.

Fruit - a leaflet , including 5-20, straight, linear-oblong or linear-lanceolate. Seeds are brown or olive-brown, ovoid.
