He graduated from the Dzhambul irrigation and drainage and construction institute ( 1980 ) with a degree in civil engineering. In 1980-1981 He worked as a foreman, then as the head of the workshop at the Vodokanal enterprise in Aktyubinsk . Then he returned to Bekabad and in 1981-1985. first he led the repair and construction, then the pipe-slate workshops of the Bekabad cement plant .

In 1985 - 1995 (with a short break in 1992-1993). Director of the Bekabad cement plant.

From May 1995 to July 2008, Chairman of the Board, General Director of the Bekabad OJSC “ Uzbek Metallurgical Plant ”.

Since July 23, 2008, General Director of OJSC Almalyk MMC .

Member of the Senate of the first convocation (2005-2010) from the Bekabad district of Tashkent region [1] .

Married to Svetlana Farmanova, has daughters Julia, Alena and Alexandra.

Awards, prizes and titles

Farmanov was awarded a number of Uzbek awards. Winner of several awards. The honorary title “Uzbekistan Republic Sida Hizmat Kursatgan Sanoat Walking” (Honored Worker of Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan) was awarded in 1997 [2] , was awarded the memorial sign “Uzbekistan Mustailligig 15 Yil” (15 years of independence of Uzbekistan) in 2006 [3] .

August 23, 2011 - Farmanov was awarded the title of “Uzbekistan Kahramoni” (“Hero of Uzbekistan”) with the highest badge - the medal “Altin Yulduz” (“Golden Star”) [4] .
