Steam locomotive built at the Dübs factory in 1885
The company was established in 1863 by an engineer and entrepreneur from Germany, Henry Dubs .
In 1903, the company merged with the other two and the North British Locomotive Company was formed.
Locomotives manufactured by Dübs and Company can be found now in different parts of the world: in New Zealand and Tasmania , South Africa and the Isle of Man . Locomotives of this company were also delivered to Russia : to the Ryazan-Ural , Kursk-Kharkov-Azov , Novgorod railways [1] .
