In 2006-2010, the municipality endowed with the status of a rural settlement . By the law of the Kursk region dated April 26, 2010 No. 26-ZKO [2], the municipality of Staroleschinsky village council and the municipality of Leschinoplatavsky village council were transformed by merging into the municipality of Leschinsky village council , from December 2010 [3] - into the Staroleschinsky village council.
