Accommodation

The Andeo-Cesian peoples are settled mainly in the south-west of Dagestan in the upper reaches of the Andis Koysu and Avarskoy Koysu rivers, as well as in the flat part of the republic, where they either mixed with the local population or switched to the Avar language and identify themselves as Avars .

The Andean peoples mainly inhabit the Botlikh region ( Andeans , Godoberins , Botlikhs ), the Tsumadinsky district ( Bagulaly , Tindins , Chamalins ), the Shamil region ( Ahvakhs ), the Akhvakh region ( Ahvakhs , Karatintsy ).

The Cesian peoples inhabit the Tsuntinsky district bordering Georgia ( Didoites (Tses) , Ginuhtsy ), the Bezhtinsky district ( Bezhtins , Gunzibets ) and the south of the Tsumadinsky district ( Khvarshins ).
