The administrative center is the village of Vorobyovka .
Law of the Kursk region dated August 15, 1996 No. 6-ZKO [1] on the territory of the Vorobyovsk village council formed the municipal formation of the Vorobyovskiy village council.
Law of the Kursk region dated October 21, 2004 No. 48-ЗКО [2] (in the course of the municipal reform of 2006 ), the municipality of Vorobyevsky village council is endowed with the status of a rural settlement .
By the law of the Kursk region dated April 26, 2010 No. 26-ZKO [3] , the Shumakovsky Village Council , the Vorobyovsky Village Council and the Ploskovsky Village Council were transformed by merging into the Shumakovsky Village Council.
