It is found in mountainous Turkmenistan , in the Caucasus , in Iran .
It grows on rocky, dry slopes in the middle zone of the mountains.
Stems numerous, straight, strongly branched, woody at the base, 30-50 cm tall. The branches are thin, twig-shaped.
The leaves are oblong-lanceolate or linear, gradually narrowed towards the base, obtuse or sparse at the apex, the apical leaves are bare, pale green.
The inflorescences are friable, racemes, axillary , mololatsvetkovye, on short peduncles . Bracts linear; calyx two-lipped, 5 mm long; corolla pubescent, about 7 mm long.
Nuts ovate, obtuse at the apex, 1-1.5 mm long, 1 mm wide, brownish-brown.
