Azino is a village in the Zavyalovsky district of Udmurtia , part of the Kiyaik rural settlement . Located in forests near the Shurvayka River, 33 km northwest of the center of Izhevsk . The Lyukshudya -Kilmez railway passes through the village, where the Azino passenger station is located.

The village received its name from the station, which was named in honor of V. M. Azin .
In May 2012, the 15-time world champion in international drafts, Alexei Chizhov, visited correctional colony No. 7 in the village of Azino, where he held a simultaneous game with the convicts [1] .
Content
History
Asino appeared around the station of the same name in the first half of the 20th century. Until 1964, it was part of the Bolshekiyaik village council with a center in Greater Kiyaik . In 1964 he was a member of the Luke Village Council. With the formation of the Kiyaik village council, it is included in its composition.
In 2004, by resolution of the State Council of the Udmurt Republic, the station and the village of Azino were transformed into the village of Azino [2] .
Economics and Social Affairs
In the village are located the peat enterprise “Chernushka-Vozhoyka”, a branch of OJSC “Udmurttorf”, and PKU “ IC No. 7 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Udmurt Republic” of a special regime. [3] .
In Kiyaik, there is a public educational institution “Azinsky secondary school”, a kindergarten, a feldsher-midwife center, and a club.
