Features

HD 45364 is an orange dwarf of the main sequence with a mass equal to 0.82 solar masses . The surface temperature of the star reaches approximately 5434 degrees Kelvin . [1] HD 45364 has a weak chromospheric activity, and it rotates quite slowly around its own axis - 1 km / s.

Planet System

In 2009, a group of astronomers announced the discovery [1] of two planets HD 45364 b and HD 45364 c in this system. They belong to the class of the so-called cool giants : their masses are 0.18 and 0.65 masses of Jupiter, respectively. Both of them circulate at a comfortable distance (that is, their companions may have liquid water) from the parent star: planet b - at a distance of 0.68 a. e. , making a complete revolution in 226 days , and planet c - at a distance of 0.89 a. e. with an orbital period of 342 days. The center of the habitable zone is located in the system at a distance of 0.75 AU
