Alexey Yurievich Bulgakov ( December 17, 1965 , Moscow ) is a Soviet and Russian rock musician , best known as the vocalist of the Legion group, in which he has worked since 1983 [1] [2] [3] [4] .

Biography
Born December 17, 1965 in Moscow. At school I went in for sports - skiing, football, athletics. From eleven years he listened to the recordings of Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple and after three years gathered a group [5] . He started not as a vocalist, he played a bass guitar for a year and a half. Having finished 8 classes, he was going to enter the philharmonic society, but entered the school for the specialty "mechanic of mechanical assembly work".
The group " Legion " was formed in 1981, Bulgakov joined her in 1983 after a proposal from bass guitarist Oleg Tsarev. Until the formation of " Artery " in 2004 [6], Bulgakov did not participate in other projects, although in 1994, after the split of the group " Aria ", he was invited there as a vocalist. However, he did not become a member of the group, since only rare recordings of four songs from the album “ Night is shorter than the day ” with Bulgakov's vocal have remained [7] .
In 2016, he took part in the recording of the album by Andrey Laptev and the group “Laptev Epidemia”.
Personal life
Wife Marina - the permanent director of the group "Legion"; I have a daughter.
Despite the many songs in the repertoire that touch upon the theme of God and religion (for example, Bell , Star , When God wakes up ), he is an atheist [8] .
