Tabachnoe ( Ukrainian Tabachne , Crimean-Tat. Kişine, Kishinev ) is a village in the Bakhchisaray district of the Republic of Crimea , the center and the only village of Tabachnensky rural settlement (according to the administrative-territorial division of Ukraine - Tabachnensky village council of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea ).

Current status

In Tabachny there are 15 streets and 4 lanes [14] , according to the village council for 2009, the population is more than 2 thousand people, 857 yards on an area of ​​108.8 hectares [15] . In the village are local authorities (M. G. Sotnik St., 13); there is an outpatient clinic [16] , a secondary school [17] , a kindergarten “Sunny” [18] , the Palace of Culture [19] , a library, a post office and a telegraph , several shops, the Orthodox Church of the Holy Archangel Michael is operating [20] . The agricultural firm “Crimean Experimental Tobacco Production Station” [21] and “ Museum of Tobacco Production ” [22] function in the village. Tobacco is connected by bus with all major settlements of the western part of Crimea [23] .

Geography

Tabachnoe is located in the extreme north-west of the region, about 5 kilometers from the shore of the Kalamitsky Bay of the Black Sea , in the valley of the Western Bulganak River , on the left bank, the height of the village center above sea level is 45 m [24] . The distance to Bakhchisarai is about 28 kilometers [25] , the nearest railway station is also located there, to Sevastopol about 38 km [26] , to Yevpatoriya - about 60 km [27] . Transport communication is carried out on the regional roads 35K-009 Saki - Orlovka and 35N-018 Beregovoe - Bakhchisaray [28] (according to Ukrainian classification - T-0104 and O-0-10201 [29] ). The land of the Tabachnensky Village Council is the border of the district: 3 kilometers away is the village of Ravnopolie , which is already in the Simferopol district .

History

The village of Tabachny was founded in 1925 [15] , as the nameless settlement of Tabaksovkhoz created for the Crimean experimental station [30] of the All-Union Scientific and Research Institute of Tobacco and Shag (VITIM), which ceased to exist in 2004 [15] . On June 25, 1946, the village was part of the Crimean region of the RSFSR [31] . The village received its modern name on May 18, 1948 [32] . April 26, 1954 the Crimean region was transferred from the RSFSR to the Ukrainian SSR [33] . As of 1974, there were 1897 inhabitants in Tabachny [34] .

A little to the west of the present Tabachny - beyond the Yevpatoria highway, on the banks of Bulganak - was the village of Kishine ( Crimean-Tat. Kişine ), which was called Gorelye back in 1945 [35] . Later, the village was abolished, and residents were resettled in Tabachnoe. On June 15, 1960, the village was part of the Krasnoarmeysky village council [36] , 1968 - part of the Vilinsky [37] . According to the 1989 census , 2319 people lived in the village [38] . Since February 12, 1991, a village in the restored Crimean Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic [39] , on February 26, 1992, was renamed the Autonomous Republic of Crimea [40] . Since March 21, 2014 - as part of the Republic of Crimea of ​​Russia [41] .
