Urla ( tour. Urla , Greek Βουρλά ) - a city and district in Turkey , in the province of Izmir , located on the isthmus of the Urla Peninsula. In the north-west, the district is bordered by the Karaburun district, in the west - with the Cesme region, in the south-east - with the Seferihisar district, in the east - with the city of Izmir ( Gyuzelbakhche district).

History
The prehistoric settlement was located near today's Limantepe . In ancient times, the city was Klazomeny . Subsequently, the city was part of the Byzantine Empire, Seljuk Beylik Aydinogullar , the Ottoman Empire .

The population of the district is 42,559 people. Ethnic composition: Greeks - 58%, Turks - 35%, others - 7%.
