Biography
Born in the city of Mülheim an der Ruhr , Germany in 1974 in the family of musicians Helga and Gerd Richter. With 10 years began to study percussion instruments. At fourteen, he became interested in electronic music, experimented with a Yamaha DX11 synthesizer (Eng.) , An effects processor ( Hohner RDM 1000 ), a drum computer ( RX-17 ) and other audio equipment.
In 1997, he created the Xabec project, continuing to experiment with new electronic sound. The first record of Klänge [M] Einer Zeit ('98, lim. 100, selfreleased) received a very positive reaction from the underground scene. [1] Then Xabec performed in Germany, France, Belgium, Slovakia and the UK.
Since 2003, lives in Leipzig . He has an education in music therapy , as an independent therapist working with children with disabilities. Writes music for commercials.
