Object REXX

The programming language Object REXX (Object REXX) ​​is an object-oriented scripting language based on the REXX language , created by IBM initially for operating systems of the OS / 2 and OS / 390 series.

On October 12, 2004, IBM released Object REXX as open source software [1] , launching the Open Object Rexx project, now available for various operating systems: Linux , Solaris , Windows . This implementation includes the WSH scripting engine for Rexx.

Object REXX supports multiple inheritance through the use of impurity classes .
