Located 15 kilometers from the administrative center, stands on the rivers Dill and Ambarka .

Economics
In the village operates a livestock complex "Siberian Niva". Its construction took about 2 years. The complex is designed for 1200 animals. For his work, pedigree cattle from Germany and Austria were purchased. The complex is equipped with modern stall and milking equipment, equipment for distributing feed and is intended for breeding livestock and the production of milk and meat.
Education
In the village is the Municipal educational institution Penkovskaya secondary school. The school has 90 students. It is visited by students from two nearby villages: Pryamskoye and Petropavlovka. The school principal is Natalia Pavlovna Ogneva [4] . The school is both a cultural and educational center of the village.
