My Angel Keeper ( My Sister's Keeper ) is an American drama film directed by Nick Cassavetes , which was released in 2009. The film is based on the eponymous novel by Jody Pikolt [1] .

Content
Story
11-year-old Ann Fitzgerald was born with the sole purpose of being an organ supplier for her sick leukemia sister Kate. For many years, they took blood, plasma, and bone marrow from her. And here's another exacerbation: Kate's kidneys have failed, and Ann should give up hers. However, Ann goes to the well-known lawyer Campbell Alexander to sue his parents and get a ban on the operation.

On the Metacritic website , the film has a rating of 51 out of 100 based on 28 critics' reviews, which corresponds to the status of “mixed or average reviews” [3] .
