Prince Grigory Ivanovich Bagration-Mukhransky (1787-1861) - major general of the Russian imperial army, a participant in the Caucasian war. The younger brother of Lieutenant General Konstantin Bagration-Mukhransky .

Biography
Born in 1787 in the family of the sovereign prince Ivan Mukhransky (from the younger branch of the Georgian royal family). He was educated in the Page Corps , from which he was released as ensign in 1815 in the Life Guards Grenadier Regiment .
In 1820 he was promoted to lieutenant and transferred to the 3rd Jaeger Regiment , but in 1822, being promoted to headquarters captain , he retired.
With the beginning of the war with Persia in 1826, Bagration-Mukhransky returned to military service and, being for special assignments under Paskevich , took part both in this war and in the campaign against Turkey that followed in 1828-1829. For the difference, in 1832 he was enlisted in the Life Guard Cossack Regiment with the abandonment of the Separate Caucasian Corps .
In 1830, he distinguished himself in a campaign for the Kuban in the land of Shapsugs, and in 1832 - in a campaign in Chechnya , and was in the extermination of the Achkhoy aul and the capture of the auls of Germenchka, Shali, Benoy and Gimra .
In 1845 Bagration-Mukhransky was promoted to colonel, on November 26, 1847 he was awarded the Order of St. George 4th degree (No. 7767 according to the list of cavalry Grigorovich - Stepanov), in 1848 he was appointed chief bailiff of the Mohammedan peoples of the Stavropol province with enrollment in the army cavalry. In 1850, he was promoted to major general and appointed assistant chief of the Dzharo-Belokan district in Dagestan and commander of the right flank of the Caucasian line section in Dagestan.
During the Eastern War, Bagration-Mukhransky was for special assignments at the Separate Caucasian Corps.
He died on February 26, 1861. Married to Princess Maria Tsereteli did not leave children.
