Characteristics
The Andromeda PW is a young orange dwarf that goes to the main sequence according to the Hertzsprung-Russell diagram . The radius of a star is equal to 0.8 times the radius of the Sun, [3] its age is estimated at 100 million years. [4] In 2006, the first Doppler mapping of the star was done. [6] Cold spots with a temperature of 1200 degrees Kelvin were observed, which moved in groups within ± 40 ° from the stellar equator. The exact period of rotation of the star around its axis was also determined, it is equal to 1.76159 days.
PW Andromeda belongs to the moving group of stars AB Golden Fish , whose average age of the elements is estimated at 50 million years.
