Luntan Hydroelectric Power Station ( Chinese trade. 龍灘 大壩 , exercise. 龙滩 大 п , pinyin : Lóngtān Dàbà ) is a large hydroelectric power station on the Hongshuihe River, a tributary of the Pearl River ( China ) [1] [2] . The height of the dam is 216.5 m. [3]

The first of the three power units of the dam was tested in May 2007 [4] . After completion of construction in 2009, nine hydrogenerators with a total capacity of 6.4 GW were launched. Planned production of 18.7 billion kWh of electricity annually.
