William Henry Sykes ( born William Henry Sykes ; January 25, 1790 , Bradford - June 16, 1872 , Kensington ) - British politician and bird watcher . He was a member of the Royal Society of London , in 1835 he founded the Royal Statistical Society, whose president was from 1863 to 1865.
