Westmoreland is located in the southeastern part of the Canadian province of New Brunswick in the Bay of Fundy and the Northumberland Strait . According to the 2006 census, the population of the county is 132,849. The county is the largest in the province in terms of population [1] [2] . In the county is located the city of Moncton , which is the second largest population in the province [2] . In addition, here is the city of Sackville, which houses the University of Mount Allison and the tourist center Shediac .
