William Fitzsimmons is a singer- songwriter. Fitzsimmons became famous thanks to the songs “Passion Play” and “Please Don't Go” , which sounded during the key scenes of the series Anatomy of Passion . The first two albums Until Until We Are Ghosts (2005) and Goodnight (2006) , Fitzsimmons recorded and produced independently in his home in Pittsburgh ( PA ). The Sparrow And The Crow (2008) is his first studio record to reach # 1 on the iTunes Top Folk Albums chart, and # 56 on the iTunes Top Albums chart. In addition to the above, his music was also shown on channels such as ABC ( Brothers & Sisters ), MTV ( Life of Ryan ), The CW ( One Tree Hill ), ABC Family ( Greek ) and Lifetime ( Army Wives ). have written magazines such as Billboard , Rolling Stone , Paste , Spin , Musikexpress , Uncut , Q Magazine , and Performing Songwriter Magazine .

Biography
William Fitzsimmons was born into a family of two blind people and grew up on the outskirts of the village of Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania . Paying more attention to sounds than to what the world looks like, Fitzsimmons has been deeply immersed in the world of music since childhood thanks to a myriad of instruments, classical and folk recordings, a talking parrot and an organ (his father made this instrument with his own hands).
William is a multi-instrumentalist, has soft but powerful vocals that harmoniously blends with a guitar and with any other instrument that matches his current mood (for example, melody, flute, clarinet, piano, electronic elements, etc.).
Fitzsimmons has a master's degree in psychology and worked for several years providing assistance to mentally ill people. Often the stories of some people, close friends, as well as those that occur in his family, are reflected in his songs.
In December 2006, his second album Goodnight was released , consisting of thirteen songs, a completely independent production and his own composition, written under the impression of a divorce from his parents. In 2008, after his own divorce, he recorded The Sparrow And The Crow .
Currently, William lives in Jacksonville ( Illinois ).
On February 8, 2011, Fitzsimmons released a new video for the song The Tide Pulls From The Moon .
