Biography
Ian Wybrow began his professional career at the age of 10 by selling a poem about a dead cat in a box to a local newspaper. From that time on, without ceasing, he wrote poems, songs, plays, musicals, novels and sketches for radio and television.
His talent was appreciated after the release of the book “The Sniff Stories” in 1989 , then The Times newspaper announced the appearance of this talent . Since then, Ian Wybrow has written more than 60 books for children, his works have been translated into 21 languages and published in 24 countries. One of the most popular characters in Wybrow's books is The Little Wolf . Tales of the adventures of Baby Wolf are translated into more than 12 languages, including Russian. In the Russian version of the book, published in translation by Maria Krisan and with illustrations by Nikolai Vorontsov .
Wybrow's works open a list of recommended school literature for children aged 3 to 14 years [1] .
