Biography
Zhanna Vladimirovna Epple was born July 15, 1964 in Moscow in the family of Vladimir Nikolaevich Epple (1929-2000), director of the Research Institute of Peat Industry (engineer by profession), and teacher Lyudmila Nikolaevna Epple (nee Trudolyubova) (born 1945 ). The last name Epple belonged to the French aristocracy; paternal grandmother - from the Jewish family Entin.
After birth, she was sent to Sakhalin to her mother's parents. My grandfather was a journalist, and my grandmother worked as a chief accountant in the department of correctional labor institutions (UITU). They had little free time and difficult relationships in the family, so Jeanne was sent to a kindergarten, where she stayed for five years. When it came time to go to school, my mother took her to Moscow. By that time, she managed to get a divorce, and Jeanne had stepfather Sergei Vladimirovich Ulantsev. He worked in a high position in the Ministry and was well disposed towards his adopted daughter. She didn’t see her father often, but he turned every meeting into a celebration, took her to Sergey Ginzburg in the holiday village “Rest”, where scientists and inventors lived, to Moldova . Dad then married a second time, he had a son, Nikolai, brother of Jeanne.
She studied well at school, was engaged in rhythmic gymnastics, swimming (there is a category in swimming), figure skating, ballet and music [2] [3] [4] [5] .

- Actual husband (1987-2004) - cameraman, then entrepreneur Ilya Ilyich Frez, son of director Ilya Frez. Two sons: Potap Frez (born December 18, 1991) [7] and Yefim Frez (born November 2, 2000) [8] . Grandson Severin (born February 3, 2018). [9]
