Guadalupe County is the county of Texas in the United States of America . For 2000, there lived 89 023 people. According to the US Census Bureau, in 2008 the county’s population was 117 172 people. [1] The district center is the city of Segin .

History
Guadalupe County was formed in 1846 from sections of the Bejar and Gonzales counties. It was named after the Guadalupe River.
