The Danish National Postal Service was established by King Christian IV on December 24, 1624 [3] . Denmark releases its own postage stamps from April 1, 1851, and on July 1, 1875 became a member of the Universal Postal Union.

Modernity

In 2007, the company employed more than 21 000 employees.

In 2009, the company merged with the Swedish postal operator Posten and formed the holding .

Since 2011, the Denmark and Sweden have started to introduce a new postal service - “digital stamps” [4] .
