Hassan Tufan

Khasan Tufan ( Tat. Husn Tufan , real name Khisbul Fakhrievich Gulzizin-Khazratov-Kusinov ; December 9, 1900 - June 10, 1981 ) - Tatar poet and writer, national figure, laureate of the Tatarstan State Prize named after Tatarstan Gabdulla Tukai ( 1966 ) [1] .

Biography

Hassan Tufan was born on December 9, 1900 in the village of St. Kiremet now Aksubaevsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan in a peasant family. He learned to read and write from his father, then studied at a village school. In 1914, the brothers took Hassan with them to the Urals, here he worked as a prospector on copper mines.

Of decisive importance in his education was his training in one of the leading Muslim educational institutions - the Ufa madrasah “Galiya” . Here he attends the musical and literary circle of the Shakird Madrasah , the young poet Shaikhzad Babich . From the beginning of 1915, his famous literature teacher was the famous writer Galimjan Ibragimov . In madrassas, he also meets with Sagit Ramiev , Mazhit Gafuri , Sagyt Sunchaley [2] .

In the years 1918-1928, Hassan Tufan taught in schools in Siberia, the Urals, Kazan, in 1928-1930 he traveled to the republics of Transcaucasia and Central Asia.

In 1930-1934, Hassan Tufan was the editor of the Tatar Radio Committee. Later, he became the executive secretary of the journal “Council of Edbaty” ( Soviet literature , now “ Kazan utlary ”).

In 1940, Hassan Tufan was repressed. In 1956, after rehabilitation, the poet returned to Kazan .

He died on June 10, 1981 in Kazan . He was buried in the Tatar cemetery in Kazan.

Creativity

Hassan Tufan begins to print since 1924 . Within a few years, readers, critics, and the literary community spoke about it. Hassan Tufan was one of the first to raise the theme of the working class, its labor and struggle in Tatar poetry. In the years 20-30. he writes lyric-epic poems included in the golden fund of Tatar poetry (“Ural sketches”, “Between two eras”, “Bibiev’s”, etc.).

Since the mid-30s, Hassan Tufan has been moving from epic to lyrics. Many lyric poems have become popular songs. In the 50-60s. he creates a number of works that can be considered the pearls of Tatar poetry. In the works of the poet of recent times, there is a deepening of social analysis, the significance and activity of the problems raised, the intensity of thought.
