Around the middle of this axis are such architectural monuments as the Town Hall of Scharbeck and the cathedral of Notre Dame e The quarter, designed in the Art Nouveau style by the Belgian architect Viktor Horta, has also survived in Scharbek. The Jehoshaphat park is also interesting , the English garden was established here in 1904 with a small zoo, a stadium, lawns for games and statues of masters of various eras installed here in large numbers.
