Luguhu [1] ( Chinese р , pinyin : Lúgū Hú ) is an alpine lake located on the Yunnan-Guizhou Highlands 202 km northeast of the city of Lijiang , on the border of the Yunnan and Sichuan provinces of the People’s Republic of China . The lake is quite deep, surrounded by mountains, it has eight islands.

From the lake flows the right tributary of the Dachunhe River [1] .
Around the lake live people from the Moso people (this tribe is often referred to as the Nashi people), who still do not have written language and the matriarchy is widespread.
