Biography

Evgeny Belyaev was born on September 11, 1926 in the city of Klintsy (now - in the Bryansk region , Russia ).

Member of the war [3] .

In 1968 he graduated from the Moscow Music and Pedagogical Institute. Gnesins (now the Gnesins Russian Academy of Music ) (according to other sources - the Gnesins State Music College (now the Gnesins College ) [4] ).

Since 1947, he was the soloist of the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Carpathian Military District , in 1953-1955, the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Kiev Military District , from 1955, the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Soviet Army named after A. Alexandrov , and since 1980 , the State Tour and Concert Association of the RSFSR "Roskontsert" (Moscow) (now Federal State Budgetary Institution "Roskontsert" [5] ).

As a member of the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Soviet Army named after A.V. Alexandrov, he performed abroad: Europe, the USA, Canada, Japan.

As a soloist he performed Russian and foreign classics, Russian and Ukrainian folk songs , works of Soviet composers. The performer of famous songs “ Nightingales ”, “Sit down, friends, before a long journey”, “ In the dugout ”, “ Where the Homeland begins ”, “ Kalinka ”.

In the 1960s, he took part in the filming of New Year’s television shows “ Blue Light ”, performed the song “Three” by Peter Bulakhov (or Pavel Bulakhov ), participated in film concerts.

Recorded on phonograph records .

The singer’s voice is the middle between the lyric tenor and the altino tenor, clear and light, of a transparent timbre. When performing, he uses both the academic, breath-based method of sound production, and the “folk”, a wide manner of singing, with open vowel sounds. The voice is also distinguished by naturally well-formed transitions between the two registers, a wide range.

Member of the CPSU since 1952 .

Before his death in February 1994 he was treated at the Main Military Clinical Hospital named after N. N. Burdenko in Moscow. Somehow, the singer asked the doctors home (now on Novy Arbat Street ) for the weekend, where he suddenly died of a heart attack on February 21, 1994 (according to other sources - February 22 [6] ).

He was buried at the Troekurovsky cemetery (plot 3) [7] .
