Flag of Krasnoyarsk

In 1995, the first Regulation on the flag of Krasnoyarsk was adopted.

The flag of the city of Krasnoyarsk is a rectangular panel of four equal rectangular fields of red and blue colors, separated by horizontal and vertical stripes of gold color. Blue fields are located in the upper right and lower left, red fields, respectively - in the upper left and lower right. The ratio of the width of the flag to its length is 1.5: 2.5 m, the width of the gold dividing strips is 0.05 m.

In the center of the flag is a coat of arms with a ratio of 0.75: 0.96 m.

Coat of arms: a red shield depicts a golden lion standing on its hind legs, which carries a sickle and a shovel in the front paws of the same metal. The shield is framed by a strip of gold color with a width of 0.25 m.

In 2004, a new Flag Regulation was adopted, which (among other things) changed the description of the coat of arms depicted on the flag.
