Biography
Born in the city of Kolyshly (now - Penza region). School years, Serdobsk , teacher A.I. Khudobin . In 1955 he graduated from the Moscow Institute of Chemical Technology. D. I. Mendeleev , specialty " technology of silicates ." From 1955 to 1957 he worked at the optical factory "Red Giant" in Nikolsk (Penza region) as a shift foreman. In 1957 he entered the full-time graduate school of the State Optical Institute. S.I. Vavilova (FSUE NITIOM VNTs GOI named after S.I. Vavilov) and worked there after graduate school, successively holding the positions of junior, senior, leading and chief scientific officer, head of the laboratory of optical glass (1966-1982), chief laboratory and the department of fiber optics (1982-1989). Until the last days of his life, he was the head of the laboratory of special optical glasses, technology of hard fiber-optic elements and microchannel plates. The main developments carried out under his leadership:
- Optical glasses with a special dispersion stroke (special flints) for large-sized space apochromat lenses;
- optical glasses with extreme optical constants;
- special combinations of glasses for the manufacture of fiber optic elements - flexible medical plaits and high-aperture fiber optic plates;
- combinations of glasses for microchannel elements and bifocal glasses with an invisible dividing line;
- glass for the manufacture of diodes and coating varistors ;
- development of the design and manufacturing technology of fiber-optic and microchannel elements for electron-optical converters and microchannel structures of x-ray tubes and x-ray lenses.
He has published 105 scientific articles and received more than 100 copyright certificates and patents ; For the first introduced invention, the “ Inventor of the USSR ” mark was awarded. He was buried at the Theological Cemetery in St. Petersburg.
