Story
Moscow , the end of 1920 . Lenin , who had recently recovered from his injury, came to visit Gorky . They are located in the writer's office. Lenin talks about his meeting with Herbert Wells and cannot hide the annoyance from the distrust with which the great artist he respects looks at the future of Russia.
Gorky, who knew of Lenin's love of music, asked Isaiah Dobrovein, his acquaintance, the pianist, to come this evening. The maestro plays the works of Chopin and in the end performs Beethoven . Thanking the musician for his excellent performance, Lenin pronounces his famous monologue that he does not know anything better than the “ Appassionates ” - a work that, for all the evil that is doing, makes him be kind to people.
