Geography
It was located on the left bank of the Fortanga River , at the foot of the Azhduk mountain range. The nearest settlements: in the south-west (upstream of the Fortanga ) - the village of Dattykh , in the north-east (downstream of the Fortanga ) - the village of Bamut ( Chechnya ), in the north - the village of Arshty .
History
As of December 1926, Gandalbos (Gandalbos) was part of the Galashki district [2] of the Ingush Autonomous Region. The Ingush lived in the village (according to the 1926 census ) [3] .
To date, the village is apparently abandoned. It was abandoned by residents, obviously, in the second half of the 1990s or already in the 2000s. At least as of 1995, Gandalbos was designated on the maps as a residential settlement [4] .
The population of the village as of 1988 was about 10 people [5] .
