Regulations
The full text of the regulations of Rosgosstrakh - the championship of Russia on football among teams of clubs of the Premier League in 2009 was published on the website of the Russian Football Premier League .
Transition to the first division
As in previous seasons, the teams that took the 15th and 16th places at the end of the championship, left the Championship and moved to the PFL First Division . These teams were "Siberia" and "Alania" .
Determining command locations
If two or more points are equal in the number of teams, the indicators will be used in the following order:
- The number of victories in all matches
- The results of personal meetings (the number of points, the number of wins, the difference of goals scored and missed goals, the number of goals scored, the number of goals scored away)
- Difference of scored and missed balls in all matches
- Number of goals scored in all matches
- Number of goals scored on the road in all matches
- In the current championship table - a place in the previous championship, in the final - the result of an additional match (or tournament - if the number of such teams is more than two) (see below).
Extra Match
January 24, 2008 at a meeting of the Executive Committee of the RFU, a change was made to the regulations of the championship of Russia among the teams of the Premier League regarding the determination of the place of teams in the tournament. Now, if all the indicators described in the regulations are equal, two or more teams in all cases will play an additional match (tournament) between these teams. Previously, the possibility of such a match (tournament) was envisaged only to determine the champion (in this case, additional competition in this case is held independently of any indicators).
In total, in the history of the championship of Russia, the winner of gold medals was determined in the “golden match” twice - in 1996 and in 2002 .
Legionary Limit
In the 2009 and 2010 seasons, the number of legionaries entering the field as part of one team is limited to six players (one less as compared to the 2008 season). Legionnaire is a player who does not have a passport and citizenship of the Russian Federation. Despite the proposal of the General Assembly of the Premier League to be considered legionnaires of footballers who have no right to play for the Russian national team, the interpretation of the concept was left unchanged at a meeting of the RFU Executive Committee.
For violation there is a penalty of 500,000 rubles and a technical defeat with a score of 0: 3.
European Cup Seats Based on the Tournament Results
The winner of the championship and the second place team will begin their performance in the Champions League season 2011/12 from the group stage. The team that took third place - from the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League. Clubs that take 4 and 5 places will take part in the 2011/12 Europa League with a playoff round. The finalist of the Russian Cup , if his opponent is the team that secured its participation in the Champions League, will take part in the 3rd qualifying round of the 2011/12 Europa League, if the team wins the Russian Cup , it will take part in the 2011/12 Europa League from the playoff round -off If both finalists secured their access to the European Cups in advance, the place in the 3rd qualifying round of the 2011/12 Europa League will go to the team that finished in 6th place in the Russian Championship.
