Busk

Busk , bones , whale bones - thin strips made of rigid material (metal or plastic, previously made of whalebone ), inserted into corsets and women's gowns to give the product a certain rigid shape. Variety of clothes accessories.

Busker - specially aligned sinus, pocket for insertion of busk.

The design of the busk used in the corset can be much more complicated than just a plate or rod. So, it is on the busk that hooks and clasps can be attached.
