Dixon, Vitaliy Alekseevich

In 1964-1990 - active service in the Armed Forces of the USSR. Higher education: military and civil. Lives in Irkutsk .

Published in magazines: “ Day and Night ”, “ Siberian Lights ”, “ Children of Ra ”; in the Irkutsk literary and artistic almanacs: "Sloboda", "Your Voice", "Green Lamp"; in online publications in Germany, USA, Israel, Finland. Works were translated into Spanish, English, German, Turkish, Korean, Chinese. Since 2013, she has been a member of the main authors of the non-profit electronic library “ImWerden” . Since 2002 - Member of International PEN (Russian PEN Center ) ^[2] ; On January 12, 2017, he terminated his membership in the Russian PEN Center in protest against the policies and practices of the current leadership. Since October 10, 2018, he has been a member of the new PEN-Moscow human rights organization, created in the structure of PEN International Club and approved at the 84th Congress of the International PEN Club.

In 2010, he was one of the first to sign the appeal of the Russian opposition “ Putin must leave .”
