Egorievskoye is a village in the Lyskovsky district of the Nizhny Novgorod region of Russia. It is part of the Kislovsky village council [2] .

Geography
The village is located on the right bank of the Volga , 73 km south-east of Nizhny Novgorod and 19 km from the regional center - the city of Lyskovo . The nearest settlements are the village of Niva (4 km), the village of Kozhino (2 km), the village of Syomovo (6 km), the village of Kolychevo (4 km), the village of Igumnovo (5.5 km). The village of Yegoryevskoye is located on the left bank of the Kirilka River, the left tributary of Sundovik .
History
The village of Yegoryevskoye is mentioned in scribal books dating back to 1588. About him then it was reported: "In that village of Yegoryevsky, the church place where the temple of the great martyr Yegorya used to burn cheremis during the war." In other words, the name of the village is associated with the name of the church. Then people began to settle around the church, and thus the village of Yegoryevskoye was formed on the small river Kirilka . In the XVIII - early XX centuries. the village was part of the Makaryevsky district . From the late 1920s to the early 1950s there was a collective farm named after Voroshilov.
Population
In the 1980s, the population of Egorievsky was 120 people [3] [4] .
According to the 2002 census , the population of Yegoryevsky was 51 people. According to the 2010 census , the population was 32 people.
Infrastructure
There are two streets in the village (Voroshilova and Kalinina), about 90 houses, there is a shop, a tractor workshop, a dairy farm, a payphone. A dormitory is set up in a former school.
Transport
There is a bus service with the village of Niva .
