Biography
In 1964, after completing his service in the Armed Forces of the USSR, he entered the MEIS , which he graduated in 1969. After graduating from the institute, he was hired by the security agencies, where he went from a junior technician to the head of the Central Bureau for Rationalization and Invention, which he headed from 1988 to 2007. As part of the polar expedition of the newspaper “ Komsomolskaya Pravda ”, he made ski crossings “ USSR - North Pole ” ( 1979 ) [2] [3] , “ USSR - North Pole - Canada ” ( 1988 ) [4] . He participated in the search for the wintering site of Fridtjof Nansen on Franz Josef Land ( 1990 ), in the excavation of the grave of Vitus Bering on the Commander Islands ( 1991 ) [5] , in the search for the place of death of G. Ya. Sedov on Franz Joseph Land ( 1995 ).
