Chromel

Chrome - an alloy consisting of the following elements: chromium - 8.7-10%; nickel - 89–91%; silicon , copper , manganese , cobalt are impurities.

A wire for thermocouples is made from an alloy, the most common is a chromel- alumel type thermocouple (HA, in the international classification type K). Chromel- Kopel thermocouples (HC, international - type L) are also used.
