A terrible drought and stone disease withered the lands of the land, turned the Stone Gardens into a wasteland, destroyed all the flying ships. The lower city is ruled by hammerhead goblins - the Guardians of the Night, and the Library scientists are forced to hide in the underground Tainograd. Residents of Sanctafrax anticipate the approach of disaster, one Supreme Academic Vox is not afraid. The forgotten ruler builds cunning malicious plans for the future, and an important role in them is assigned to the Dodger Korodera, the Library Knight. The Dodger would have given everything for the airships to plow the edge of the Land again, but for now he will have to endure many trials, dangerous and unexpected: slavery at Gester Krivoship, the disgusting role of a traitor, a decisive battle with merciless shriki in the tunnels of Tainograd.
